In an Instant Suddenly -- ET Influence in Pending
Transformation of Society
by Sterling D. Allan
Dec. 15, 2004
JJ,
I finally had a chance to read through your series
of installments on exotheology, and I have a few comments in reply, mainly
as it pertains to what is often referred to as "end times" because it
is the end of one era and the beginning of another.
You stated, "The only real federations in the galaxy are the two
brotherhoods who are not connected in the dense physical."
That sounds pretty galactic to me -- and divisive -- light versus dark. The
eternal struggle. Each has their disciples on the physical plane, manifesting
that struggle on the physical plane. There is a galactic struggle.
Just as God allowed the incoming settlers of the Americas to plow down the
natives who resided here, I would think that it would not be outside the realm
of possibility that the superintending God council could allow the explorers of
the next frontier -- space -- to have their way with us, and for those of a more
benevolent nature to be able to intercede on our behalf.
I agree that we as inhabitants are the ones who steer our destiny by the
collective choices that we make, and that the superintending God council
likewise steers things in such a way to (1) allow our consequences to be
answered upon us, for good and for ill, as well as (2) prevent things from
happening to us that are above our ability to endure; which process has the
effect of promoting our growth and development by the lessons we learn.
Why would God bless us with such incredible knowledge of the universe and a
burgeoning ability to traverse the distances of space (there is good reason to
believe some of the UFO sightings are of craft made by man) if there was not a
plan in the wings to induct us into an extra planetary commerce?
Now, to another comment you made. You said in essence that the great
transformation anticipated by the LDS, as well as most Christians, the returning
of the earth to its paradisiacal state, "will not happen as expected,"
but will be more of a gradual change spanning centuries. You make the point that
our level of advancement today would seem like Eden to one living a couple of
millennia ago.
I take strong exception with this model. It contradicts a myriad of consistent
and replete prophetic themes.
The prophecies describe our consequential destructions coming "in an
instant suddenly." One day things are relatively tranquil, then WHAM, the
next thing we know, life as we have known it has been turned up-side-down. Satan
has his way with the world for a brief chapter, then, when it would seem all is
lost, and the Lord's people have been humbled to their core (realizing that the
destruction was something they should have prevented but didn't), a great
deliverance will be answered upon that humility. "A nation shall be born in
a day."
That is no gradual transformation. It is an even that we will be able to engrave
in our calendars and memorialize for generations to come. It will mark the
turning point when we finally collectively came to our senses.
There is a "Sabbath" era coming on the world to coincide with the
Sabbath of the edenic state that ended approximately 6,000 years ago. One
thousand years of man is as one day for the Lord, meaning we are on the eve of
our Sabbath era. Though the interpretation of such a turning point hitting us on
the stroke of midnight 2000 came and went without the much anticipated "end
of the world as we know it," does not mean that such a turning point will
not come at all.
There are a myriad of scenarios that could cause the meltdown point to
materialize. I agree with you that we as a civilization decide collectively by
our choices just which scenario will actually come into play, and that we can
defer certain scenarios that are more disastrous than others by our collective
will. I also agree that the severity of such scenarios can be mitigated if
society collectively learns its lessons by precept, negating the need to learn
by hard experience.
But there is a collective awakening event slated for us -- a day we will be able
to mark on our calendars for generations to come.
Now, on to another point you made. You talked about "the coming ice
age," as being a likely cataclysmic event that you expect within 150 - 200
years, which will give "time to prepare for gathering the lights into
floating cities on the oceans where they will be out of harm's way of this and
other earth changes."
I have a bit of a hard time buying the notion that the oceans will be a safe
harbor when the earth is reeling too and fro. I don't think that is where one
would want to be. The engineering required to hold a structure steady through
such huge upheavals (tidal waves, winds, torrents of rain) is most likely beyond
the scope of what we could manifest. Imagine the destructive force of a
hurricane when it hits land. It packs more power than a nuclear bomb, many times
over, and that is at a stage when it slows down. Imagine what such storms would
be like at sea -- and add to that the additional strength caused by
"mega-storms" that we anticipate to happen with increasingly
regularity and ferocity as the earth changes take place.
No, I don't think a city on the ocean is the answer for safety in the coming
days -- and certainly not for the ice age scenario you specifically mentioned,
which would be marked by cataclysmic oceanic upheavals.
Another point in your treatise touched on the cities of Enoch, etc..., that were
"taken up." You gave your opinion that these did not entail the actual
physical real estate, dirt and all, leaving the planet, but was one person at a
time ascending away.
I realize that it is hard for our scientifically trained minds to imagine how a
large chunk of earth the size of the gulf of Mexico (city of Enoch?) or of the
Mediterranean (city of Salem?) to be taken from the planet (these chunks are
"missing pieces" from plate tectonics puzzle), but I'm sure, if this
is what did happen, there are advanced laws of physics that were applied, and
that a return of these land masses will likewise follow similar laws and will be
possible. [As a side note, the earth that is now divided, from the days of Peleg,
is supposed to return to one land mass. That is going to be no small cataclysm,
possibly taking place when the earth does its pole shift. Again, I don't think a
city on the ocean is the place to be for safety at that time. Raised up above
the clouds will be a good place to sit that one out, and the dust will not be
settling in a couple of hours. We're going to need to eat, and sleep, go to the
restroom -- and so will the animals that we might decide to take with us .... An
argument for another craft like Noah's ark -- this time for the earth's baptism
of fire.]
Your second to last paragraph is highly profound -- and actually contradicts the
thrust of your response.
"One of the dangers we face on earth, because of the little assistance we
have received [from light/dark brotherhood, or E.T.s is not specified], is that
we now have the capacity to blow ourselves into the stone age but not the
maturity to insure we will exercise the proper self control to move safely into
the new age."
If that extent of "assistance" (aka intervention) has taken place to
such far-reaching consequences, then it would stand to reason that additional
intervention would be both allowed and warranted to counteract the consequences
that are more than humans could handle alone.
Finally, while your point about much of the ET information that circulates is
bogus, do to contrivings of people's imagination, is a good point, I think your
dismissing 99% of these reports is overkill.
In my humble estimation, one of the primary reasons for increased UFO sightings
and ET interactions since around 1947 was because the earth became the subject
of increased ET activity as a result of our galactic smoke signal sent when we
began detonating atomic bombs.
That brought us into their ball game. They have a vested interest in not letting
us blow ourselves up, and in not detonating our planet.
That, you must concede, is a compelling reason for increased activity and
interest from our neighbors in the galaxy. It means we are skirting technology
that can take us to the stars, and that if we would do it here, we have it in us
to also do it somewhere else.
Like a parent responding to a child playing with a gun from the gun closet, they
came rushing to the scene to make sure things do not get out of hand.
