So when does
human life begin ? When does the tiny human organism developing inside the
mother actually become a human being? When is it a real person, an individual
with all the basic rights that all human beings have - particularly the right
to life ?
AT THE MOMENT OF CONCEPTION / FERTILIZATION, LIFE BEGINS and all the
necessary elements that create a new living human being are present. When the
chromosomes of the father and mother unite, they form an absolutely unique,
never-to-be-duplicated human person. A new individual receives 23 chromosomes
from each parent. He or she is truly a unique individual living human being,
never to be repeated. Once fertilization has taken place, ovum and sperm no
longer exist. A new person has been created, who at this stage is a tiny
living organism weighing only 15 ten-millionths of a gram.
At that moment of conception / Fertilization, life begins. From that moment
on, any further formation of the person is purely a matter of development,
growth and maturation. From that moment of conception, the child grows and
keeps growing as a tiny human being.
A developing human being within the mother is alive making bodily growth
and movements.
At just 3 weeks in the Growth process the tiny human being, only one-tenth
of an inch long, already has the beginning of eyes. spinal cord, nervous
system, lungs, stomach, intestines. The primitive heart, which began beating
at about 18 days, now pumps more confidently. new life within her.
At 6 1/2 weeks, the child is making body movements, that the mother may not
even be aware of.
At 8 weeks, the developing child can make a tiny fist, get hiccups, suck a
thumb, wake and sleep. All bodily systems are working.
At 11 weeks, while the placenta continues to supply food and oxygen, the
child can make complex facial expressions and even smile. All bodily systems
are becoming more efficient.
At 16 weeks, only 5 1/2 inches long, the child can use hands to grasp, can
swim and turn somersaults.
At 18 weeks old the child is active and energetic, flexes muscles, punches
and kicks. Now the mother feels the child's movements. While growing within
the protection of the mothers womb , the child develops separately in many
ways, with a separate individual blood supply. The child's life is not the
mother's life but a individual of it's own. Yet dependent upon the mother as a
separate, individual life. The human baby being within, functions with its own
brain making movement decisions to move or turn about. The Mothers concern for
the human life within must be a top priority for the life within is precious.
The right to life is the most fundamental right of every human person. To
violate this right to destroy a life, to kill a human being at any age or
stage of development- weather in the womb or out of the womb - is a crime
against God and humanity.
How long is a tiny human being dependent upon the mother for protection and
care in our out of the womb ? In the womb 9 month and out of the womb until
the age of self sufficiency.
Stand and give voice to protect the innocent tiny human beings in the womb.
Stand up for and give voice in protest against Abortion by surgery, Abortion
Pill devices and other destructive interference's of the innocent tiny human
beings within the womb.
Abortion is the greatest war of all time. Innocent life is being
slaughtered at an alarming rate. The catastrophe is total. This killing is
running wild through the whole of humanity. The War against life of the
innocent in the womb is devastating. Never in the history of mankind has there
been so much violent death in the world incited upon the innocent.
INDUCED ABORTION IS ETHICALLY WRONG: The world's major religions condemn
abortion, adhering to the commandment "Thou shalt not kill."
Abortion violates the doctor's Hippocratic Oath and Declaration of Geneva -
which states: 'I will have the utmost respect for human life from the moment
of conception."
ABORTION IS UNNECESSARY: Abortion cures no disease. Our present abortion
epidemic - now well over 1 million surgical abortions a year - has resulted in
the virtual drying up of many adoption services.
ABORTION IS DANGEROUS: Besides killing the child, abortion endangers the
mother's health and life. Society suffers when the innocent are killed for
convenience.
