It is true that Iraq is the place of ancient Babylon. But what is modern Babylon? Consider these words: "For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, 'No one sees me'; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, 'I am, and there is no one else besides me.' Therefore evil shall fall upon you; You will not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, Which you shall not know." (Isaiah 47:10-11) Is ancient Babylon being used to punish modern Babylon? Why does "Mekhabel-YY" (Terrorist of God) show up encrypted right next to the encryption of "Osama" and "Bin-Laden"? There are other encryptions here having to do with Iraq and Sadam Hussein. I have not listed these among the FINDs because I do not know if these are relative or not. Yet they do show in an impressive way. What is the Holy One trying to tell us in the Torah Code regarding Babylon? Previous to the above quote we read, again in this range: "Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, Who dwell securely, Who say in your heart, 'I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, Nor shall I know the loss of children'; But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. . ." (Isaiah 47:8-9) It gets much worse--the destruction indicated. So in chapter 48 verse 20 we read: "Go forth from Babylon!" Go forth from the culture dominated by New York? The only place Babel-- Babylon shows up encrypted right on the matrix (169) it is next to the encryption of New York. Has there not been a lot of hypocritical patriotic rhetoric coming out of Washington and elsewhere? Have we not bombed civilians, thousands upon thousands, and called it "collateral damage"? What was Hiroshima and Nagasaki? A direct attack upon civilians? What about the free fire zones in Nam? I was there. Innocent men, women and children were killed indiscriminately that were found in these zones. They were considered Viet Cong. And the Gulf War? What about the innocent civilians in Baghdad that were bombed? What about their buildings that crashed to the ground, struck by our massive bombings? What about the assassinations committed by the CIA? (Now our "patriots" are calling for renewal of the authority for the CIA to go around assassinating suspected enemies again.) The Islamic fundamentalist groups do not have the sophisticated weaponry of the West. So they are using other means of warfare and destruction. The Viet Cong guerillas did the same thing. Our forefathers didn't play by the rules, either, during our Revolutionary War. They were supposed to march in files, like the Redcoats, with bright colored coats, not hide like cowards behind trees, wearing camouflaged outfits. The Islamic fundamentalists see the United States as godless and superficial. They underestimate us. But we also underestimate them. And we have, to a large extent, become modern Babylon and given over to materialism as our god, rather than hold to the course with the God of our forefathers. I just lost my father. I lost many friends in the war in Vietnam. I know the pain of this kind of loss. We all pass out of this world at some time and face our Maker. What are we doing meantime? Calling our enemies cowards and terrorists, and going on a political crusade to hunt them down, while at the same time continuing in our national course of materialism and wickedness will only bring greater destruction to this planet. We have, in truth, become modern Babylon, and unless we come out of Babylon, I'm afraid the descendants of ancient Babylon will be a scourge to us. Dean.
