from Zephaniah 3 Chiasm

Woe to her that is filthy and polluted!

2 Yet I will make those of her a name and get them praise and fame in every land, among all the people of the earth, where they have been put to shame.

3 Thus saith the Lord to the oppressing city, At that time will I bring you again: when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, even in the time that I gather you.

4 She obeyed not, she received not, she trusted not in the Lord; but I will gather and save her that halteth and was driven out, by the voice of correction, that she will draw near to her God.

5 Behold, at that time I will undo all her princes and judges within her that afflict thee; for they are roaring lions, evening wolves, gnawing not the bones till the morrow.

6 Her prophets and priests are light and treacherous persons that have polluted the sanctuary and done violence to the law.

7 Therefore, I will gather them, who are of thee, that are burdened with sorrow for the reproach of the solemn assembly.

8 The mighty Lord is in the midst thereof: he will save and rejoice over thee with joy and singing; he will rest in his love.

9 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is just: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light; he will not do iniquity; he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

10 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, and cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee:

11 I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; their streets waste, and their cities destroyed, that no man passeth by--for there is none to inhabit. Thou shalt not see evil any more.

12 I said, surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; but howsoever I punished them, they rose up early, and corrupted all their doings.

13 But in that day it shall be said to Jerusalem and to Zion, Fear thou not, let not thine hands be slack; for their dwelling shall no more be cut off.

14 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, with the fire my jealousy, until the day that I rise up to the prey; to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured.

15 For it is my determination that I may gather and assemble the nations and kingdoms.

16 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; and be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

17 For then will I turn to the people a pure language; they will speak no lies, neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth;

18 But they will all call upon the name of the Lord to serve him with one consent; for they will feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

19 I will also leave in the midst of thee from beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed: an afflicted and poor people;

20 And they shall trust in the name of the Lord and bring mine offering.

21 In that day thou shalt not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me, for the remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity.

22 For then I will take away out of the midst of thee who are of my holy mountain, them that rejoice in thy pride; because thou shalt no more be haughty.

Schopenhauer
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
   Second, it is violently opposed; and
   Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
