Having been an 18 year member of Jim Harmston's group I now have it from the
horses mouth that the TLC Jim Harmston group in Manti is breaking up from the
inside. As of today they are losing 3 major tithe payers which will probably
mean that they will lose their buildings or at least one of them. There are five
more that are getting ready to leave as well.
Because Jim now teaches doctrines that are actually anti charity, anti love,
anti agency and anti Christ. Many of the members are beginning to wake up and
leave his little empire.
He has demanded that one man leave his wife because Jim thought that the mans
wife was leaking information about their secret doings in their secret meetings
of the holy inner circle. He did not ask the man or his wife anything about it.
He just assumed and accused the man and demanded that the man leave his wife.
They are now commanded to eat only a vegetarian diet, no animal products at
all. Even to the extent that they cannot use leather or anything that comes from
an animal. Previously they were commanded to take down all pictures from their
walls in their homes, even pictures of Christ because they were all graven
images. The women were commanded to not wear any make up at all and to wear only
dresses.
They cannot see that they have moved to outward facades and not tending to
the inner character work that is needed to create a Zion society. He has
recently, under secrecy taken another young teen wife into his harem.
Unbeknownst to many of her blood family members and to the majority of the
membership of his own little church.
One woman who is in her 50's announced that she was pregnant. Later she said
that her pregnancy was a Terrestrial pregnancy, that it was not actually in this
world.
The ship is sinking and people are bailing out now.
He receives most of his revelations from his 16 wives. He then presents those
self serving revelations to the congregation as a....thus sayeth the
Lord.....commanding them that if they do not comply then they will be perdition.
He has stated multiple times that anyone who leaves the TLC is automatically
perdition.
The man has no discernment at all. He changes most of his doctrines on a
whim. Usually changing them to be completely the opposite of what they
originally were.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
What is needful for all to know is that Jim is a true con man and that those
who follow him are victims of some pretty powerful brainwashing techniques that
have been employed over an 18 year period of time. These techniques were put
upon them subtly, slowly, and cunningly just as any devil would do to honest
folks who were seeking a better community to live God's laws. My question
is....where did Jim learn these brain washing techniques? These people are all
very good, kind and honest truth loving people. Who can recognize a true wolf in
true sheeps clothing until the fruits have had time to bare out?
They have all been deceived with truth and trusting too much in a man. He has
now chosen from among his dwindling congregation a group who he calls his inner
circle. Those Jim bots....Jim robots who follow unquestioningly every dictate
that he utters. They are completely locked in through fear, shame, guilt and
false hope to follow him, believing him to be the Holy ghost, Joseph Smith Jr.
and literally a God on earth that will sweep the planet of the wicked and
establish Zion once again. For them, the thinking has been done. But the problem
is that he has set up a system, a culture and a policing structure in his
church that has turned into a cancer that is now eating the entire church from
the inside out. The days of the TLC church are numbered.
Lets all pray that those Jim bots who are in the inner circle do not give their
agency to Jim to the extent that they come to the conclusion that this world is
just too wicked for them to be translated so they will have to die.....take
their own lives.....and then be translated on the other side and come back and
do their work. You know.....drink the green cool aid like the Jim Jones group
did? Because that is where they are headed. The thinking has become so crooked
and out of touch with reality that they are all now in a free fall and he will
likely continue to gradually test their loyalty by producing more weird and
obnoxious commands and revelations for them to comply with. And then when he
feels they are sufficiently obedient he will produce the green cool aid
revelation as a.....thus sayeth the Lord revelation. This is a very real
possibility considering the mind sets and the long held paradigms and fear that
they hold continually in their hearts toward Jim.
Jim has kept a blood atonement list of those that have left his little
church. I don't know if he still has it, but I know that he did have it about 6
years ago. And just like the Lebaron group who started killing those who had
left, just like Dan and Ron Lafferty who killed a woman and her baby because she
was getting in the way of Gods' plans. Jim and at least one of his group have
had the capacity in the past, in their crazy thinking....to carry out this kind
of a thing on those who have left. Pretty scary but very possible considering
the mind state he and his inner circle have now entered into. They all live in a
bubble where they believe every word Jim speaks.....literally. They spy on each
other. They report to Jim when they see someone in the group in the store with
meat in their grocery carts. Or when they see someone talking to someone who has
left his church. And he screams at them in front of the congregation because of
it. It happened to me.
I write this letter for the specific purpose of pre-empting some of the
things he might do. He has destroyed many lives and has broken up families. He
has led many on in the most insidious deceptions that appeared to be the paths
of righteousness but were not. Let us all pray that his little empire will
quickly disband and just go away. It is unjust in the extreme to continue to
hold so many people hostage and in bondage to false hopes, false truths in a
self righteous puffed up ideology of a false future that they will never know.
His god lies to him and to everyone in the TLC over and over and over again. Yet
they cannot see the truth of it because they struggle to let go of the great
false hope he has imbedded in their hearts and minds so deeply. So, FYI to all
of you. Rejoice that the false profit....yes, profit, not prophet is finally
coming to accounting for his Luciferian deeds for so long. Send this to everyone
you can, make it pandemic.

What is a man of God as compared to an incarnate devil masquerading as a man of God? Sometimes they are difficult to discern from one another because the devil will most
efficaciously mimic and mirror the man of God so well that even the most discerning will be fooled.
A devil will preach true religion at the outset, making everything he is teaching appeal to the hearts of his listeners. He will use passion, confidence, he will know the scriptures very very well and will quote them often to prove he is teaching truth. Yes, the devil does teach truth in order to capture the hearts of people and then he slowly, very carefully slips in a little off colored doctrine here and there. He
redefines the meanings of some key words and he tweaks some primary and foundational principles and doctrines just a tiny bit over time so as to cause the people to be open to even more "higher doctrines" as he receives them. He takes on a platform of a strict and yet loving Father figure which effectively reduces the peoples relationship dynamics to him as they being children. When he is angry, he comes down in fierce, very loud, and embarrassing condemnations upon any soul who has stepped out of line. This intimidates the entire congregation and like frightened children it immediately sets up a dynamic of fear of crossing him in any way at all. This fear he establishes from the beginning. The devil would often use shame and inferred expectations to humiliate members of his congregation, guilting them into obedience. He would also have his lackeys or suck ups. Those who were always super loyal and obedient to the point where they would say things like...our opinions should all be the same as
Jim's opinions. No one should have an opinion that is different than Jim's opinions. That actually did happen in
Jim's church.....no kidding. Some even established parts of their identities based upon
Jim's approval.
The first step off the path of truth that Jim successfully accomplished was when he re-defined the meaning of the word Charity. His new definition was that Charity is our pure love for God only.....period! Nothing more. When confronted with the rest of it's meaning.....it is also the love of God in our hearts towards our fellow men he would blast that person and tell him he was dead wrong over and over and over to all the congregation. This is the foundation that he built his Shunning doctrine on. This shunning doctrine has been the most damaging doctrine to the growth and unity of the TLC. Because of the shunning doctrine the members would watch each other continually, waiting for anyone to do something wrong and then they would run to
Jim and tell him what they saw. He would usually address it over the pulpit the next Sunday. Sometimes directly ridiculing that person in front of everyone. This shaming only caused many of the members to withdraw inside and sneak the next time. This shunning doctrine created a dynamic wherein if any member manifested a weakness or a complaint. All the members would immediately withdraw from that person as if he had a disease and would rarely offer any help to overcome their weakness.
Jim would often say...give him enough rope to hang himself. And so because of Jim's attitude of people becoming disposable, the members both adopted and reflected that attitude in policing each other and not supporting each other.
My own sister was in a horrible car accident. She spent about two weeks in the hospital. She was married to
Jim at that time and still is now. She broke many bones and literally smashed one side of her entire body. She laid in bed for six months. Not one of her 16 sister wives came to visit her in that entire time. Not one ever offered to help my sister in her pain and suffering. Another part of
Jim's shunning doctrine is that we were commanded to not mourn after those that leave but were simply to disconnect our feelings from family members and friends when they left. We were forbidden to talk to them about anything after they left.
Jim didn't go to his own brothers funeral because of his own shunning doctrine. The shunning doctrine created a status climbing dynamic amongst many of the members. Some would do outward works that were very visible in order to get more
Jim juice or approval from Jim. Those that were successful in getting a large amount of
Jim juice and keep it were considered the royalty or the golden ones. This one upmanship was not only competitive but it created many divisions and underlying gossip and contention. It also was part of the motive for why some of the women married
Jim.
Now, this shunning doctrine is expressly anti charity, anti love and ant Christ. Christ hung out with the sinners.
Jim regularly made fun of the Mormons, calling them morons and making fun of their spiritual experiences as being warm fuzzies. He was continually putting down other religions, especially the Mormons. In just about every meeting he would say....I'll bet there is no place on this planet that anyone else is talking about the great and exalted things that we are talking about today. Bragging to his congregation. Is this the behavior of a man of God? Or a devil. It is pride based? Or humility based? Is it love based? Or control based?
There were and still are members of the TLC who are dirt poor. Always scraping the bottom of the barrel to pay the bill that will be shut off. Throughout the entire history of the TLC
Jim always had the best toys, the latest electronic and computer hardware. I recently found out that he takes 4000 dollars from the tithes
paid by his members for his own monthly expenses. And takes 500 dollars a month to pay his payment on his huge brand new truck. He bought a brand new green house. He bought an actual wall sized flat screen television. I have never seen a flat screen that big. He bought a couple of brand new ATV's. He recently bragged that he had to throw 20 pairs of leather shoes away in order to keep his own twisted version of the word of wisdom. He has at least 10 guns hanging on his wall. Every thing
Jim wants he gets regardless of how poor anyone in his congregation is. And he pounds the pulpit in anger at his congregation for not living the law of consecration. When he was pounding the pulpit commanding his congregation to keep the word of wisdom....no sugar, processed foods, just live foods only. While he was preaching that, his wife told me that he would come home and eat an entire box of doughnuts. What a hypocrite!!!
Jim has, by his own twisted methods of enforcing and forcing the people to obey him, created a self destroying system that simply cannot grow because it lacks the two most basic and fundamental principles of any kingdom of any God of truth. Those are Charity and Agency. Without Charity you are nothing in God's eyes. The cultural codes, the caste system, the way the people relate to one another and stay only so close but also so far away from one another in their personal relationships because of the tremendous lack of trust that exists because
Jim demands loyalty to Jim and because of his shunning doctrine. It cannot stand, it has cancer and it will self destruct.
Jim is getting desperate and scared, pulling his little group of Jimbots closer trying to keep them all in line.
When ever a God of truth ever even suggests the need for loyalty among his people, he is by that very suggestion taking away their agency. A God of truth will always win the hearts of the people by virtue of his
loving them. And they will have no fear whatsoever towards him. But they will love him and honor him because they love and respect him. When loyalty is demanded or induced through fear, it is certainly a devil in
sheep's clothing that is demanding it. Devils and fallen Gods are always insecure, true Gods are not. When loyalty is even spoken about, it is a red flag. Loyalty is inherently an unspoken part of love. When there is a perceived need for loyalty or a perceived lack of loyalty, there is also to the same degree an absence of love and caring for the people. Christ was the servant of all. Lucifer wants everyone to serve him and to rule over all with fear, shame and guilt, demanding loyalty from all or they will be destroyed. Lucifer sees his subjects as being disposable. Don't let the door hit you on the butt on the way out.... Christ goes after the one that is lost because to him the value of that one soul is priceless. Lucifer couldn't give a damn because that one isn't serving his selfish
megalomaniacal desires. Give them enough rope to hand themselves.....don't let the door hit you on the butt on the way out.
This is the plain and simple fruits that Jim has always manifested. When people give their agency to a man asking him to lead them. Then the curse that is spoken of in 2 Nephi 4:34 comes upon them without them even being aware of it.
34 O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh. Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm.
That actual curse is an actual blindness of mind that keeps them from seeing that they are following a devil. They cannot cognize it. They cannot comprehend it at all as is abundantly apparent in the TLC. They have eyes and ears but do not see nor hear at all. And they cannot perceive it. They are under the power of the devil they follow......literally. That is the curse that they bring upon themselves by giving
their power, their agency to a man to lead them and to think for them. That is the curse they are under because they have literally given
Jim the power, in their minds to exalt or to damn them in eternity.
No amount of reasoning or talking or pleading with them will ever pierce that deaf and blind wall of cold, dead, lifeless followership to him. Just like those in this world who are wicked who are under the power of evil, the TLC membership are under the same power of evil but are not wicked people. Just blind, programmed, closed minded. If they would only go to those who have left and seek the reasons why they left then they would have understanding. But
Jim's shunning doctrine keeps them locked up tight and keeps them from ever venturing close to those truths.
Years ago Jim was banned from Wal-Mart in Ephraim. Yes, he was forbidden by the manager to never come back into
Wal-Mart. The reason was that he was sexually harassing women in Wal-Mart so much so that they had to ask him to never come back.
Jim's own wife told me that. I have personally on four occasions stood next to Jim and both watched him lust after a young girl and then comment about it in a manner that jolted me because it was so crudely sexual and
inappropriate. I have spoken to at least 6 different men in the TLC who have had similar experiences personally with
Jim.
On the one hand Jim tries to befriend his members. When he switches to his other personality he sees his people as being disposable unless they serve his purposes.
Now, I say these things because I witnessed them all. I participated in all of it. I watched, took mental notes and put two and two together.
Jim used to say that we would never eat our way into heaven and he would harass one member who didn't eat meat years ago because he wouldn't eat meat.
Jim at that time being a meat eater. Now he says that if you eat meat or animal products and do not eat a certain way you cannot get into heaven. Why is the word of wisdom for the TLC different than it is in the D&C? Why has he taken the entire membership through at least 6 different diets commanding us to eat the way each diet dictated? It was because
Jim's wife has always had health problems. She would come across a new diet or a new way of treating her illness and she would get revelation about it and give it to
Jim and then the whole church would have to live it. Jim's wives have pretty much always run the affairs of the church or at least a select few of them have behind the scenes.
Now, are these the fruits of a man of God? Or of a devil? I think it should be pretty obvious by now what is what. Please share this letter with everyone you can.
