Sterling,

I've been enjoying the posts.  Thought I'd give you a brief update on the homestead here.  This is a busy time of the year for me and my family.

As you know (but then, you may not know)--my family and I are "caretakers" here in Zion on a 75 acre horse ranch.  We have (and love) horses.

There are fences to mend, wells to dig, springs to tap for water for winter, pipes to bury below the freeze line, round hay bales to gather, horse hooves to trim, pregnant mares to stall, "green" horses to train, filleys to nurture, pastures to plow and sow, barns to repair--see what I mean.

Don't get me wrong.  I love it!  Simply love it.

Our property overlooks a 12 mile valley that overlooks the "sacred spot" in Independence.  In a few weeks, I can catch my breath.

Trust you're enjoying the fall season.  We truly are.

In His Name,

Lynn

All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
   Second, it is violently opposed; and
   Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
