Addendum/Preface:
Upon reading Kerry's story (his version) on a website, I felt to conclude that he was
wrongfully incarcerated. Based on that, on January 2, 2001, I produced a web page [below]
featuring his case and inviting assistance on his behalf to help free him.
But then on February 11, 2001, Kerry's daughter, Holly Boren, found my page and responded
with her account of what happened, giving her first-hand witness of what life was like in the
Boren home. It portrays a very different view, which argues strongly for the justice of
Kerry's incarceration, especially considering his continued unrepentant, denial of guilt.
I should have listened to my wife back in January. Her intuition told her Kerry was not
innocent. She knows from first-hand experience growing up how men (her father in this case)
can be in denial of their hurtful behavior. Still, I'm grateful that I now have Holly's
account, and can now use this web presence to expose Kerry's denial.
I will not say that I now think Kerry Ross Boren is of no value to society, for I do think he
has something to contribute. But it does seem to me that his bars have been warranted.

Dear Mr Allen,
You have really got to be kidding? Do really believe that nonsense? Take it from someone who was
there and saw and heard what happened. Elvia died from numerous beatings from this man. Beating
not only from his fists that he used but a board from the backyard where he beat her numerous
times. I was there!!! Have u ever seen pictures of Elvia? She is unrecognizable. He not only beat
hear he starved her. I snuck food to her. I can't beleve you think he is innocent. I grew up with
this man I watched my mother being beaten by him. Growing up in this family has been a real
growing experience. And I have to thank my dear father for that. I am his eldest daughter. I was
there I know what happened it was in my home and I will not let him do this to anyone else. I have
not met Lisa but I won't let her fate be the same as Elvia's. There were other things that occured
in this house with his 9 year old stepdaughter.. And i believe her 100 percent. He tried with me
when I was fourteen. He also dated at the same time he was married to my mother to a girlfriend of
mine whose name is Janine who was at the time 17. He also lived with a friend of mine when my
parents seperated...her name was Wendy she was also 17. He brought his 15 year old girlfriend to
the hospital to see his new son, my younger brother,when he was born. He has wreaked havoc on so
many lives,and now you people want him out so he can hurt more women and children. I am prepared
to do everything I possibly can to keep him where he belongs...in prison.

This man has denied what he did in 1983 to his wife Elvia. But I was there. This happened in my
home. He beat and tortured Elvia viscously and numerous times. I grew up with this myself,watching
him over the years do the same to my mother and at times to myself and siblings. He is a threat to
any woman that is with him. I fear for Lisa if he is ever freed. Keep him where he is at. He needs
to stay. Protect Lisa. If anyone wants any information on Mr. Boren feel free to email me

LOL!!!!They want to free you and they can't even get your name right!!!Too funny. Bet they
wouldn't want to free you if they were there and saw Elvia lying on the floor beneath her baby
daughters crib beaten so badly she didn't look human. Blood stains all over the wall. Guess what
DADDY DEAREST I am still here and you once told me...The pen is mightier than the sword.

Well dear father of mine it seems you
are at it again. I have been silent for too long.. Listen up everyone!!!!!!This man is guilty!!!!I
was there I know what he did. I grew up with it. He beat her visciously and numerous times. It was
horrific. My mother went through this also. My most memorable memory is watching my wonderful
father hit her over the back with a shovel handle he used as a walking stick,,,it broke in half
and she lost consciousness. As a child I grew up afraid of this man...now I am grown and I no
longer fear him..but I do fear for Lisa his new wife. Will her fate be the same as Elvia's?

| Kerry Ross Boren specializes in European, Medieval,
Renaissance, and Ancient history. He has authored numerous books and published
articles in many periodicals, including the Chicago Tribune, National Geographic,
and Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, France. He is the founder of many
associations, including the National Center and Association for Outlaw and Lawman
History (NOLA) and Western Historical Research Associates. He was the recipient of
the 1976 Bicentennial Award from Cambridge University for his contribution to
research. As a motion picture consultant, he has worked on many films, including
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Against a Crooked Sky. He assisted Alex
Haley with research on his books Roots and Queen. |

Hoffman's 1985 Salamander Letter scam. Portrays him as most likely an unwitting purveyor
of spurious documents; in his character to be loyal to Joseph, but not very much so the current
