Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus
 | Phillipians 2:5-11
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with
God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a
servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became
obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is
above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and
things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the
glory of God the Father. |
That ye may be one, even as I and the Father are one
 | John 17:13,18-24
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they
might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into
the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified
through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on
me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that
they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent
me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be
one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that
the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast
loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where
I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou
lovedst me before the foundation of the world. |
As children of the God, receive correction that we might be holy as
he is holy
 | Hebrews 12:5-11
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto
children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint
when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he
receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons;
for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye
bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we
gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father
of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but
he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto
them which are exercised thereby. |

gods?" |

Verily I say unto you, even as I am." |
 | III Nephi 28:10 "And for this cause shall ye have a fulness of joy;
and ye shall sit down in the kingdom of my Father; yea, your joy shall be
full, even as the Father hath given me fulness of joy; and ye shall be even
as I am, and I am even as the Father; and the Father and I are one." |

 | D&C 93:19,20 "I give unto you
these sayings that you may understand and know how to worship, and know what
you worship, that you may come unto the Father in my name, and in due time
receive of his fulness. For if you keep my commandments you shall receive of
his fulness, and be glorified in me as I am in the Father; therefore, I say
unto you, you shall receive grace for grace." |
